I'm launching this newsletter, subscribe now, in which I plan to publish semi-frequently, perhaps a few times a month. It will summarize the most crucial developments I'm observing in technology. I'll recap key tweets, events, and industry news, and provide my perspective on their implications for the tech and business sectors.

Having spent 27 years in Silicon Valley, I've experienced at least five tech waves:

• Dot com: I saw massive growth, and a few titans that still stand today, the lesson came down to business models.

• Web2: Lessons on data strategy, platform vs dependent app, and emergent business models.

• Sharing economy: Lessons on network effects from multi-sided marketplaces, overcoming the cold start problem, and how gov can sway adoption

• Web3: Learned on what consumers want vs what startups want, user experience friction, and sustainable biz models.

• And now AI. Too soon to declare learnings, but this feels as big as dot com, and users want these technologies, and society is generally excited and scared.
